Game Title: Run Outlaw Run
Platform: Mac & Windows

Description: The Santa Fe Complex is home to the SimTable LLC (see http://www.simtable.com/ for a cool video). Stephen Guerin and associates have created a tool that utilizes a feedback loop of projector and webcam to model terrain, forest fires and other simulations on a sand table. The Game Jam team saw this as an opportunity to cross over between the physical and digital environments.

The Run Outlaw Run game was prototyped in Unity, and built for Mac and Windows. The Outlaw player runs from Hounds, Footmen and Horsemen, in a dynamic terrain. Terrain may be reloaded via the settings button with a grayscale height-map.

Additional prototyping of agent-based behavior of wicked Sheriffs and hounds tracking the Outlaw was done using NetLogo on the Simtable. We envision a SimTable Game Master creating levels and placing agents, while multiple players experience it in Unity. The Simtable produces a grayscale height-map we can load at runtime into the Unity terrain.

Gameplay Instructions : Mouse to look, Arrow keys or w-s-a-d to move.

How to run game: Unzip and run .app or .exe file (Recommend selecting 1024x768 on config screen).
